I believe Renewable Energy Project Part 2 is a great cause. I am doing this because Kenosis community goes above and beyond to look after vaunerable children. I have personally been at the premises multiple times and seen all the good work they are doing. The solar set up will be a much needed asset and will improve the loves of the children.

This project is raising funds that will be used to provide more constant and secure power to the Kenosis Community Foster Homes by upgrading and extending the solar system with additional PV-panels and a lithium wall-mounted battery, enabling them to continue delivering assistance to the children that need it.
The Kenosis Community exists to provide Safety, Stability, Love, Hope and Opportunity to orphaned, vulnerable and disadvantaged children through our Cluster Foster homes. We also provide quality pre-school education for Grade RRR & RR learners at our Early Childhood Development Centre for children who would not otherwise have access to this foundational phase of education.
It is a sad fact that the supply of electricity in South Africa has become more and more unstable and, like many areas and suburbs, Kenosis suffers frequently from this unreliable supply of electricity. Alarmingly, the challenges we face with uninterrupted power supply has become increasingly problematic. The causes of these outages are due to the increase in both cable theft and numerous illegal connections which trip or damage the transformers which supply power to the foster village and the ECD.
